Remotely enable Remote Desktop

Perhaps you didn’t enable Remote Desktop on the machines on your network. Simply connect to the registry of the destination computer using the registry editor (=> Connect Network Registry) and go to the key: HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server and set the value fDenyTSConnection to 1 and you may connect now to the destination computer.

Set Firefox default browser via GPO

Create a new GPO or use an existing one. Add a registry entry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\http\shell\open\command and set it to “C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe” -requestPending -osint -url “%1″ For XP systems the path remains the same but without ” (x86)” ! This should set Firefox as your default browser !
